Expload in Open Beta Testing

The Application’s Functions & Features

In December last year, we began closed beta testing for the Expload application. We aimed to create a unified gaming space, where players could build financial relations with each other, without having to leave the boundaries of the application. Meanwhile, the developers could benefit from the financial transactions. As a result, we have created an application with the functionality for the building of open economies within games.

Interface

The UI is designed in minimalistic style and features the dark color palette that is already familiar to players:

• two languages (English and Russian)
• user-friendly and efficient support function

Games

The platform currently offers two games:

• Chaos Card Duels — a collectible card battle in a fantasy universe setting
• Epic Pets — a dynamic match 3 adventure with a collection element

Inventory

All the assets that have been obtained and/or earned in various games on the Expload platform are stored in one place — the player’s personal inventory. This allows the player to access and view all of their possessions in one click, without having to log in to each particular game.

Marketplace

The player may opt to sell any item on the marketplace by setting their own price. Convenient search filters will help them find the required item among the multitudes of lots.

Currency

All games integrated with the Expload platform have a common currency in circulation — XGold. Once earned in one game, this currency can be used in another game or exchanged in the marketplace for the purchase of items:

• kept in the player’s wallet with Expload
• initially purchased through card acquiring (paying by bank card)
• can only be transferred from one player to another under smart-contract transactions (sale/purchase of items, paying for in-game services, etc.)
• XGold earned by the player cannot be withdrawn into fiat currency

Wallet

The player’s profile is linked to their wallet containing in-game currency, whether purchased or earned.

Topping Up

XGold can be purchased through an integrated payment system.

• funds deposit into the Expload wallet from MasterCard or Visa
• easy payments from within the application itself

During the closed beta testing, we collected feedback from the players which helped us to implement the necessary updates and to further enhance the user experience. We have significantly improved the product and are ready to move into open beta. The blockchain is currently running in the testnet mode. However, we have developed a mechanism that enables redeployment of XGold-based smart contracts in the new network. This means that all progress in the games, inventory and purchased XGold will be saved once the testnet is wiped. Therefore, you can play, level up your skills and buy items on the marketplace — all those hard-earned things will survive the launch of the platform :)
