5 Things You Should Do Right Now in Lisbon
So, here we are, hopefully in good shape after last week’s glimpse of Lisbon’s nightlife. Don’t worry, this time we’ll explore a few locations that won’t bring you a hangover the next morning, au contraire.
Here are some must-see places and activities which you should definitely try out so long as the weather is nice. Have fun!
1. Ride them waves
“The Lisbon area has some great activities to offer. My favorite activity in the area is definitely surfing, Costa da Caparica and Praia de Carcavelos have usually some good waves on offer.” -Seabas on Sefize
2. Dive into art
“The Gulbenkian Museum is definitely a must-see. Students pay around 2 euros, free on Sunday. The rich collection spans from Babylonese arts to Liberty style, with a focus on Middle and Far East. Also, the view from the top of Parque Edoardo VII on a sunny day is breathtaking.” -The Dave on Sefize
“If you’re into arts:
-Museu Berardo is a good option too (contemporary art);
-Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga (medieval art around 15th and 16th centuries);
An excellent and marvelous musical venue with the best musical acts on a national and international scope is Galeria Zé dos Bois (but if you prefer commercial music, this is not the place for you :) )” -JoãoPQ on Sefize
3. Explore the urban lifestyle
“Go hang out in LX Factory! There a plenty of little amazing little cafés ands cute shops. Great to walk around and chill :)” -Nathalie on Sefize
4. Drive an F1 car. No, seriously.
“If the weather isn’t as good or you’re still tired from surfing you can race a Formula 1 car! There are several place in Lisbon where you can virtually race cars against your friends. It’s a lot harder than it sounds and a lot of fun for those few rainy days in Lisbon. One of those places is in Avenida Miguel Bombarda #161 C” Seabas on Sefize
5. Enjoy the view from a castle
“A place you have to see in Lisbon is Castelo de Sao Jorge! For students there is a 5 EUR entrance fee, but is definetely worth paying it. From the Castelo you have an (I would say THE most) amazing view over Lisbon, especially during the sunset. Additionally you can enjoy the interesting surrounding of the castle in one of the cafés. Close to the Castelo there are 2 Miradouros you can also explore when you are already there. Enjoy!” Benyi24 on Sefize
