The Common Touch: Anne of Bourbon-Parma, Princess and Macy’s Employee

Not all Royals live in castles

On September 18, 1923, Princess Anne Antoinette Francois Charlotte of Bourbon-Parma was born in Paris, France. She was the second child of Prince René of Bourbon-Parma and Princess Margrethe of Demark. Like most European royalty, she was related to many reigning or former monarchs.

Exploring History is a publication about history. Instead of focusing on any particular time period of history, we explore anything about the past that helps our readers understand the world they live in today. We pay special attention to historiographical rigor and balance.
