Finding My Identity After Addiction

When I quit drinking, I was shocked by the sudden influx of free time. I was used to spending every evening on the couch, working my way through six-packs as I watched TV and surfed the web.

When I was a heavy drinker, time flew by, even when I wasn’t doing much of anything. After I got sober, time slowed down to a snail’s pace.
