Jason Biggs Was a Jerk

From 2012 through 2014, Jason Biggs was one of the most obnoxious celebrities on all of Twitter — and if you’ve spent any time on Twitter, you know that’s a high bar.

The actor rose to fame playing affable nice guys like American Pie’s Jim Levenstein. Since his characters were always so likable, the actor was generally well-liked by the movie-going public too.

But, if you read his Twitter posts, you’d guess that he had woken up one morning and decided to just try as hard as he could to throw his reputation in the trash.

He made sexist and homophobic jokes about the cast of the Bachelor. He made disgusting sexual comments about politicians’ wives. He even mocked the Malaysia Airlines plane that was accidentally shot down in 2014.

Occasionally he’d end up pressured into apologizing, but when faced with criticism, he often simply doubled down. In a Huffington Post interview from 2012, he explained:

It’s funny because I have a very [messed] up sense of humor — pretty dark, always have. But people just don’t think that of me — even though I’m known for f — -ing a pie. But, still, something about Jim…
