This article accuses Republican Congressman Stephen A. Day of being a Nazi Sympathizer. It isn’t unsubstantiated, however, as he notes a letter sent by Day congratulating Hitler personally for his meteoric rise to power. In addition, he has garnered vocal support from the “Deutscher Weckruf und Beobacher”, a branch of the German American Bund, for his writings in support of the Nazi party. This article is essentially attempting to rally support against Day as the author notes that many times that the congressman has used government funds to attempt to clear his name, funds that are directly tied to taxpayer dollars.
