German Sunday Culture

Sunday culture for Germans seems to be a little bit less serious than it is for many Anglo-Americans. The Germans are predominantly Christian’s and have religious beliefs but do not follow it as seriously. It was difficult to find articles about this topic at this time period but there were a few that would describe church events/services people would attend. It however does seem more imporatant to the community than religion is in the United States at this day in age. It was more of a community event which it still is for some but not as many. They liked to spend the time with family and friends to get a brake from normal life as it is. Another thing I noticed not as much in this article but others is that the way stuff was written and published back in that day would definitely not fly in todays day in age. The way they talked about differnet groups of people would not be as culturally acceptable now adays.
