- The Word and Way was a weekly baptist newspaper out of Jefferson City. From the issue I looked at, it showed adds varying from oil companies, bibles, and different colleges and universities to attend. The content looks like it was intended for all audiences but pertains to women in some aspects like the women’s work section. While it is unclear what political orientation they are leaning towards, it is apparent that they or at least one writer didn’t like Germans.
- The Boonville Weekly Advertiser was exactly how it sounds: a paper where ad space is given out for the whole duration of the pages. So, to describe what advertisements they had, I would say all the ads were on this paper. Other content included general political news like local elections, gossip, and news from the state capital. It’s intended audience was mainly anyone who could get their hands on a paper and be interested in one of the products on it.
