A) The Jefferson City State Journal was a newspaper, published in English, available in Jefferson City by subscription. From an article I read it briefly talks about the beliefs and “legends” of Germans from a questioning point of view. This newspaper is certainly not written by or to Germans.

B) The Boonville Weekly Observer was published weekly and free to view (subscription-free). It appears to feature half advertising and half traditional newspaper articles per paper. The main focuses of this publication include, “politics, literature, agriculture, and general intelligence.”
