This article in the Word and Way from 1927 talked about prohibition smack dab in the middle of its tenure as an amendment. Six years before it was amended, prohibition in Jeff City, according to this author, was a “stupendous task.” He argued for both sides of the spectrum, saying that prohibition has helped young scholars, but has been set to only benefit the those in power. This can be compared to the articles because of how prohibition affected everyone during the time from the salesmen and even the military.
