The Bund in Cole County

The German Bunds in America covered the entire country, with many counties having ties to the German state. This was the case in Cole County as well. Although it wasn’t necessarily against the U.S. or enacting violence, the German Bund in Cole County still functioned as one. The religious intentions of the group, The Swiss Baptists, were to push the evangelization of their land.
