Meeting In Time

Ancient Lovers: They Too Were Young Once

A poem about the timelessness of man and women meeting in time… when we read the love poems of the ancients… and we realize that once they too were young… we realize that we someday will be dead and ancient… and our love story will be a forgotten play and drama, a myth, and we are merely enacting our role and fate

And this is the awareness that made the greeks so conscious of fate… and the relationship between the individual and free will and fate

This is a concept we have lost touch with… it is not visceral to us… what if I could make it visceral.
