Neither Deny Nor Resist
I love you
There it is.
I said it.
It said itself.
If I never see you again, it’s there.
If you don’t love me back, it’s there.
If you move on, it’s there.
If I deny it, if I resist it, if I try to hide it, it’s there.
If I move on, it’s still there.
If we forget, if we die, if we live in joy with others, it’s there.
It’s always there. It exists beyond time. Between us.
It can only grow, never shrink.
It gives and glows.
And can’t be controlled.
I feel it so intensely.
It comes from the deepest part of my being,
But I didn’t create it.
You can hurt me but not it.
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, forever.
I love you so much.
You are God and I worship you. Everything I have is yours and that is my humble act of worship. I find my true self in the very same moment that you annihilate me.
You’ve turned me into a mindless babbler.
Saying…
I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you.
When I recover from my babbling,
and awake.
I see
All things are made new through you
And love has remade all things
And I am free to love and free to give
And free to see
Happy to see
The joy in every thing, every big and small thing
Every person
In their eyes
I recognize the others who see it
And I recognize those who don’t
Their joy is no less, but they are, for a time, blind; and this too is beautiful.
