To look in another direction: the one of beautiful, straight, authentic Italy. Here you will find suggestions and ideas that unveil you unknown rarities, places and gems of italian heritage and territory. Small cities, villages, medieval churches, roman monuments. Particular landscapes, treasures of biodiversity, extraordinary people who will trasform your travel in an authentic experience of Italy.
Let’s start with the first idea. Today I will take you to Bagno Vignone, a little gem in the heart of Valle d’Orcia — Tuscany. All the valley is an Unesco heritage because of its typical hills, gentle cypresses, precious vineyards, medieval churches and villages. Not far from here you can explore Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia. Or — close to the village — you can follow the Via Francigena (the ancient route to Rome walked along by thousands and thousands of cristian pilgrims).
