For the purpose of this discourse, knowledge is having sufficient pieces of information concerning a given idea. Wisdom is the rightful application of that knowledge for the betterment of mankind.

There are more knowledgeable people than wise people on the planet. I need no statistics to state it because it is common knowledge.

The problem of the world is not lack of knowledge. It is lack of wisdom.

Annually, universities and colleges of divers disciplines worldwide: do churn out graduates or graduands, as the case may be. These made up majorly of youthful brains storm the various industries of the globe with their brilliant ideas, initiatives, beliefs, convictions and theories.

Where have these propositions led the world to: if not more poverty, wars, diseases, homelessness, environmental pollution; just to mention a few?

These are twenty examples to show that the world are made up of more knowledgeable people and not necessarily more wise people, thus:

  1. Some brilliant doctors would advise their patients not to smoke but have packets of cigarettes in their pockets. Some are even addicted to smoking.
