33 Ways to Take Care of Your Body, Mind, and Soul

I am going to share with you a few ways, tested already by me of how to take care of your body, mind, and soul for good psychosomatic health, which is so important. We are going through first-hand experiences, therefore we need to be adaptive and creative. We cannot go to our parents or our grandparents to ask them how did they cope with it, when they were young, simply because they encountered something similar. Reshifting our routines, means we need to prepare entirely, we need to align our body, mind, and soul, we cannot focus only on our bodies for example, and not pay attention to our soul’s needs. Self-love means listening and nurturing our unified existence.

Free your body, mind, and soul of everything that is no longer necessary to you.

Body

  1. Exercise, daily
  2. Hydrate, slowly, do not rush, and do it throughout the day. Did you know that according to the
  3. Eat healthy foods
  4. Take care of your skin
  5. Take a long soothing bath at least once per week, with bubbles, essential oils, sea salt and why not, roses
  6. Massage your body; if you cannot go to a massage, or ask someone, do it yourself, in this way you will be more in contact with yourself
  7. Pamper your hair, use masks, even better if you prepare them at home from natural ingredients
  8. An impeccable manicure and pedicure tells a great deal about you, so why don’t indulge yourself?
  9. Walk, daily, ideally 10000 steps, it can make magic, as it can change your thoughts, not only your shape
  10. Dance! It can be fun, and you don’t have to be a pro to do it. Just turn on the music and dance your way…to the kitchen or to the desk
  11. Put on some makeup, even though when you don’t need to go out, it will make you feel better, guaranteed!

Mind

12. Read every day, even just a few pages, make a routine

13. Learn a new language, or practice if you haven’t done it in a long time

14. Learn something new, it will keep your mind young. And do it consistently, stick to it for at least 21 days in a row, in this way it will become a habit

15. Write, keep a journal, write anything it makes you happy

16. Speak to your loved ones, family friends

17. Take care of your thoughts! Every time a negative one comes up, be conscious of it and replace it with a positive one

18. Be present. Stop, from time to time and just breath and feel with all your senses, you are here and now, you are alive

19. Practice gratitude, be grateful even for the small things in your life

20. Go to a museum, learn about a new painter, a new current, we need aesthetically pleasant things in our lives

21. A good movie can be food for thought; you could choose an Oscar-winning film

22. Pay attention to the music you are listening to; try listening to classical music when you are working

Soul

23. Meditate, or find a suitable practice for you, like praying

24. Be kind, make a small gesture to help someone now and then

25. Be kind to yourself, say only words of praise to yourself. The way you treat others is the way you treat yourself

26. Make peace with the past; one way to do it is to write a letter to someone you are upset with or something that you’re upset about and then burn it

27. Allow yourself to feel everything: anger, joy, excitement, rage. Don’t suppress your feelings, because they don’t go away, they will remain there until you unlock them

28. Tap into more profound subjects, with someone you trust

29. Reward yourself every day, after you accomplished something; spend some quality time doing what you love

30. Speak kindly to people and speak nicely of people; don’t judge them since you never know the whole story. You are not here to judge anyone, the same way you wouldn’t like to be judged

31. Have you ever tried words of affirmations, or mantras?

32. Being resentful doesn’t help you or the other person. Resentment literally hurts your soul. Try ho’oponopono

33. Remember, you are enough! YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN TRULY TOTALLY CARE FOR YOUR BODY, MIND, and SOUL.
