A crisis … no matter what kind of a crisis it is … it’s a CRISIS!!
When there is a crisis, people will only respond or react in one of two ways.
They’ll give up. OR … They’ll rise up.
So what if the government lied or covered up. Really. So what!
Whether the “government” does right by US, we all have to do what’s right and necessary to survive. If you make up your mind that you are going to rise up, you’ll find a way.
Look at the history of mankind.
People know how to take their lives into their own hands.
Humans are intelligent resilient beings. Particularly in America, individual workers and individual companies or corporations know their jobs and their businesses far better than any government official or politician knows.
When did a company official or executive ever NEED or even RELY on the government to advise them on how to make their business profitable?
If a company leader is selfish and does not really care about the workers, that’s when you have a REAL problem, and the COVID-19 pandemic is just a “convenient excuse” for them to clean out the bank accounts and close the doors.
Says the company leader: “You employees have to make it the best way you can. You can always file for unemployment. This is America. There are all kinds of programs to assist the ‘increased surplus population’. As for me, I’m keeping my yacht! See ya! Wouldn’t wanna be ya!”
That scenario could be a true picture. But let us assume the CEO or top company official or the business owner has a heart.
IF the people want to work and the company or corporation wants them to have a place to work … then they should BOTH put their heads together and come up with a SOLUTION!!
I’ve seen this done on a small scale. I have no doubt it can be done on a grand scale.
All that’s required is sensible and reasonable thinking people who want to SURVIVE!
There should be a coordinated and organized federal response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Yes. There should be.
There should be a coordinated and organized state and local response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Yes. There should be.
But if there’s not, what are you going to do?
* Whine about the way things “should be” and what should have happened that did not happen?
* Bring a military assault weapon to a government building, and have a yelling and screaming peaceful protest about it?
How about … instead of whining about what responsible elected officials and government people should do and/or engaging in behavior that is detrimental to public health and safety …
Why not assess your current situation and what you can do and come up with a realistic and viable game plan?
What’s that?
No! I’m not talking about becoming an anarchist!
I’m talking about being a realist.
This is the REALITY CHECK.
* Believe it or not! The politicians and government folks don’t always KNOW the right answers and/or know exactly what to do; especially in a CRISIS SITUATION!
* Believe it or not! Some of them think very realistically and reasonably and they are open to ideas and suggestions on how to get things back to “normal”. If you approach them on how you all can work together … instead of yelling and screaming at them with assault weapons in your hands …
You might be surprised at the results of a Government-Business-Citizens UNITED effort.
