Beyond Men’s State

When there is trauma, you carry it with you until you die.

it’s beyond my state
of mind on my plate
to enjoy my way
what’s all in my faith

where I want to stay
and there I will lay
as long as I can
as a little Fay

but when I was ten
looking up to men
that were a bit nuts
as I was no fan

When you have been abused — mentally and sexually— by your father at the age of then — and then you have been mentally abused by your former partner; I still haven’t getting it out of my system.

Interlocking Rubaiyat

An Interlocking Rubaiyat is a poetry form of quatrains following an aaba rhyme pattern. Each successive quatrain picks up the unrhymed line as the rhyme for that stanza. So a three-stanza rubaiyat might rhyme so: aaba/bbcb/ccdc. Lines are usually tetrameter (four syllables) and…
