You and I are from the same generation. We don’t need to go back and do a count on how many homes had guns. Probably most homes had guns. My mom had a gun. FOR PROTECTION. The preacher at the church I attended? His house was loaded up with rifles. FOR HUNTING. But who needs a military assault weapon in their home?

WHY are these kinds of weapons being sold to the AAC (average American citizen)? They were developed for combat. FOR WAR! Not for shooting innocent school children, or people at a public gathering like festivals and country music concerts. I.e. NONCOMBATANTS WHO DO NOT POSE A THREAT!!!

And I am not sure I buy that line about not helping the mentally ill. Some folks doing that crazy shooting ain’t crazy! They’re EVIL.
