Partnership with OKX — Monday
On Monday, exSat Network kicked off its Token 2049 journey by announcing a strategic partnership with OKX, one of the largest global cryptocurrency exchanges. This partnership commits OKX to become a Validator on the network, staking a minimum of 100 BTC. By collaborating with OKX, exSat Network strengthens its positioning with trusted custodians and key industry leaders. OKX is one of the largest exchanges in the world, this partnership strengthens exSat’s positioning as the most promising Bitcoin project in 2024.
Keynote at ChainUp’s CeFi — DeFi Event — Monday
Later that day, Tristan Dickinson, CMO of exSat Network, delivered a keynote at ChainUps’ CeFi — DeFi event. In his presentation, Tristan explored the challenges and opportunities in the Bitcoin ecosystem and how exSat Network not only solves these challenges but stays true to Bitcoin’s ideology. His insights provided an in-depth understanding of how exSat’s technology will scale the Bitcoin ecosystem and how ideologically driven the network is.
Keynote at C2 Ventures Side Event — Tuesday
On Tuesday, exSat Network continued increasing brand exposure at key side events with another keynote presentation by Tristan at the side event hosted by C2 Ventures. C2 Ventures is an investment firm that builds and invests in Web3 companies. They believe in a multi-chain future and connected the exSat team to many interested projects that want to leverage the exSat Network. Tristan’s keynote focused on the possibilities of earning yield on your Bitcoin via the exSat Network. There is over $300B in dormant Bitcoin and exSat’s decentralized asset custody provides a safe and secure way to earn yield without losing ownership of your underlying asset.
Keynote at HashKey Wealth Side Event — Tuesday
Following his appearance at C2 Ventures, Tristan also presented at the HashKey Wealth side event on Tuesday. HashKey Wealth is the leading end to end digital asset financial services group in Asia. Many attendees of the event were interested to hear about the custodial options for earning Bitcoin yield. Earning yield on Bitcoin was a key theme of the conference, the Bitcoin renaissance is spotlighting the ecosystem and interested parties are looking for solutions that are safe, secure, decentralized, and able to provide yield in a transparent way. exSat Network was highlighted as a critical solution, alongside Babylon, and there was significant interest from custodians, whales and institutions.
Extend Satoshi Side Event — Announce Mainnet Launch 23rd October — Wednesday
The exSat Network hosted the Extend Satoshi side event, bringing together some of the largest and most trusted partners in the Bitcoin and crypto ecosystem together. During this event, exSat announced the much-anticipated mainnet launch date of October 23rd. This milestone announcement generated immense excitement among attendees, who are eager to see exSat’s technology scaling the Bitcoin ecosystem.
In addition to the mainnet launch announcement, Tristan presented another keynote and participated in a thought-provoking panel discussion alongside the CEO of Bedrock, the founder of C2 Ventures, and other influential figures in the industry. This collaboration involves a commitment from Matrixport to deploy between 5,000–10,000 nBTC on the exSat Network. Additionally Matrixport will assist with dApp development on the exSat platform, further improving its security and robustness.
