Our accountability to make the world a better place
It’s time to get up from the comfortable sofa to decide our fate
We are facing the fourth industrial revolution, powered by artificial intelligence, where robots will soon replace most of the human being activities and our houses will became self-managed places.
This revolution will allow us to achieve a greater focus on what we really like, but this imply also a new way of socialization, otherwise loneliness will increase despite the wide variety of communication media available.
We are human, and humans like physical contact and nonverbal communication.
We are currently facing a different approach, due to Covid-19 emergency, where a close contact is prohibited and “social” distance is requested, we stopped to shake hands and hug people feeling uncomfortably by these behaviors.
This technological great change needs to be managed, not only by politicians but also by us, by our individual accountability; otherwise, the new world will be far “colder” than the current one.
Showing humanity, freeing-up our empathy, getting in touch better than in the past is the key of change; we need also a new way to integrate communities (forget than the “social media” can do it).
We have to externalize our emotions, our thoughts and our troubles speaking instead of texting as we are doing now, increasing the physical contact with kisses, hugs and caresses (sooner or later the Covid emergency will finish).
We have to be ready to think without limits, boundaries, prejudices, conventions and the fear in the future because the change is already on and will soon appears on surface.
We have to understand that this trasformation must be managed by people; to change the world in a better place we need to be engaged personally to ensure that the wealth produced by this fourth industrial revolution will be redistributed among people.
We need to change our imaginary going beyond the supine acceptance of the events to ACT raising our voice to make real this intention.
Otherwise…
The new world will see only a huge separations between few rich and the incoming mass of poors due to a pervasive technocracy that will power automation to maximize profits, regardless of social impacts.
Being always “electronically” connected, always reachable in this world of “multiple versions” we must continually live the present making a compulsive communications: continuously, by any means, anywhere and with anyone.
Please slow down… returning to the basics: look at the people into their eyes and observe their body moves.
We have to be accountable to make the world a better place acting a personal, intimate and free of paradigms choice to address the future in a bright way.
Everyone of us as it’s up to us to address the future by preventing someone else to decide on our behalf.
It’s a moral commitment that we must take on for our children and grandchildren because the things that will happen in the near future will have repercussions later.
It’s time to get up from the comfortable sofa to decide our fate, NOW.
