This is a graph illustrating the trend of how many think marijuana should be legalized.

This next graph shows that besides the Silent Generation, the majority of all generations alive today support legalizing marijuana.

And this quote is only one of the things he’s said about marijuana.

I reject the idea that America will be a better place if marijuana is sold in every corner store. And I am astonished to hear people suggest that we can solve our heroin crisis by legalizing marijuana — so people can trade one life-wrecking dependency for another that’s only slightly less awful.

According to Jeff Sessions, marijuana is only slightly less awful than heroin.

But now, he’s surprised people are not buying it.

When they nominated me for attorney general, you would have thought the biggest issue in America was when I said, “I don’t think America’s going to be a better place if they sell marijuana at every corner grocery store”. [People] didn’t like that; I’m surprised they didn’t like that.

Shocking that something that you are against that is favored by 57% of Americans is not liked by Americans.

If Jeff Sessions really wants to continue his increasingly uphill battle, he’s going to face serious backlash from the American people, and he shouldn’t be surprised at all. There have been no recorded cases of a death caused by marijuana, yet alcohol and tobacco kill at least hundreds of thousands of people a year. It is also shown that when states legalize recreational marijuana, marijuana use goes down, and the crime rate goes down. It simply does not make sense to delay or stall the national legalization of marijuana. And the American people fortunately agree.
