Thoughts and Prayers AGAIN
The worst deadly mass shooting in US history happened last night in Las Vegas. Here we go with the guns don’t kill people, people kill people bullshit.
If guns don’t kill people, then bombs don’t kill people either. Bombs are nothing more than a Playskool shape sorter until some asshole comes along and detonates it. Anthrax doesn’t kill people either. Anthrax is just a pile of harmless spores until some asshole comes along and puts it in somebody’s office fan. Oh and nuclear weapons don’t kill people until some asshole pushes the button. Until someone pushes the button, nuclear weapons are just harmless phallic symbols of a dark, maniacal, power crazed society.
50 people are dead and 400 are injured after a sniper shot at people at a country western concert from his hotel window in Las Vegas. This is the deadliest mass shooting in US history but we’re not allowed to talk about gun control or how a gun nut could get his hands on so many killing machines used for war because we shouldn’t politicize a tragedy. Some of the corpses that people tripped over while trying to save their own lives could have been killed by friendly fire by good guys who may have started shooting in a panic.
The good guy with a gun theory is bullshit, too. None of the 20,000 concert goers could have killed the bad guy because they didn’t know where the bad guy was. Even if they did, they couldn’t have killed him because he was so far away.
The sniper was a white male, home grown terrorist, but Trump never used the word “terrorist.”
Now would be a good time to remind everyone that when the parents of slaughtered first graders from Sandy Hook showed up in the halls of congress with photos of their dead babies, Congress pretty much told them to go home.
In other news, Trump took a military helicopter to go from one golf club to another yesterday while Puerto Rico ate cake. At the second golf course, he dedicated the President’s Cup trophy to the people of Puerto Rico. Water and food were for runner ups.

Trump is going to make a cameo appearance in Puerto Rico tomorrow. He’s bringing bottled Trump brand water and participation trophies.
Maybe Trump will give the families of the victims of the mass shooting a Trump Vegas Hotel souvenir mug.
CNN is gushing over Trump because he stuck to a script this morning. It’s not hard. The bar is so low and the line has been moved so many times with this dickhead that the line is lost. This is an anything goes, for-profit Twitter presidency.
Paul Ryan doesn’t think Trump is a racist. “I do really believe his heart is in the right place.”
OJ Simpson is out of jail. Maybe Trump will give him a job in his cabinet since he’s such a fine man.
Republican hypocrite fun fact: Republicans are all hypocrites.
We’re on the brink of nuclear war, climate change is wiping out entire islands, we’re shooting each other for kicks, everybody and their schizophrenic brother is armed and dangerous, we have a madman for a president, the GOP is the party of hate and money, people are getting rich off of health care, nobody can afford to retire, the free press is under attack, and Nazis are marching in the streets.
