The sadistic cycle of escalating war continues from Bush, to Obama, and now to the next heir, Donald Trump.

The “war on terror”, otherwise known as the war for the petro-dollar, or the war for regime change, or even the war on basic human decency to not kill innocent civilians, all started with another half-brained Republican president, George W. Bush, who brought forth the war in Afghanistan, and the war in Iraq. After eight years of two conflicts, we get eight years of seven conflicts with neo-liberal hawk Barack Obama, who decided to create drone warfare as we know it today, and as mentioned earlier, built up the war on terror from two interventions to seven. During both these administrations, civilian deaths were numerous, and that pattern continues with today’s president, Donald Trump.

The Daily Beast reports: (http://www.thedailybeast.com/president-trumps-air-war-kills-12-civilians-per-day)

Airwars researchers estimate that at least 2,300 civilians likely died from Coalition strikes overseen by the Obama White House — roughly 80 each month in Iraq and Syria. As of July 13, more than 2,200 additional civilians appear to have been killed by Coalition raids since Trump was inaugurated — upwards of 360 per month, or 12 or more civilians killed for every single day of his administration.

Take a look at the amount of fear-mongering directed at ISIS and other terrorist groups, and then compare the damage. The corporate media goes ballistic when a terror attack strikes in first-world countries, yet they are practically silent when hundreds of innocent people each month are killed by the United States of America. I hear crickets…

But all of a sudden, when this jump of civilian murders occurs, the Trump administration decides to shut down its war crimes office.

Newsweek reports: (http://www.newsweek.com/trump-war-crimes-torture-tillerson-638404)

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is closing a decades-old office in the State Department that has helped seek justice for victims of war crimes. The Office of Global Criminal Justice advises the secretary of state on issues surrounding war crimes and genocide, and helps form policy to address such atrocities. It was established by President Bill Clinton’s secretary of state, Madeleine Albright, in 1997. Since then, the office has supported the work of criminal courts in countries including Rwanda, the former Yugoslavia, Cambodia and the Central African Republic, and has pushed for greater U.S. support of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.

How coincidental that as soon as war crimes need to be held accountable the most, government decides to shut down the office that would hold war crimes accountable.

But now that he is unapologetically “bombing the s**t” out of the Middle East, he is continuing the sadistic cycle. The families that will lose their loved ones to US drone strikes will ultimately be radicalized by groups like ISIS, new terrorists will spawn, the corporate media will shine a light on these new terrorists and put pressure for more war and bombing, more war and bombing ensues, more lives lost, more terrorists spawn, the cycle continues. I wonder why Trump wanted to kill the families of ISIS members.

Or bring back waterboarding:

How eloquently, presidentially put.

(By the way, waterboarding doesn’t work)

Looks like we’re going to have to be in the long haul for this one, let’s hope in 2020 a certain someone gets rid of this maniac and his chess pieces.
