Trump Signs Deal With Fox For New Reality-TV Series, ‘Stand Back And Stand By’
The former Apprentice host and fictional president will launch TV drama alongside rock throwing band, The Proud Boys
Capitalizing on a catchphrase he coined in the Tuesday night presidential debate, Donald Trump penned a deal with Fox on Wednesday afternoon for a fall 2020, reality-tv drama titled Stand Back And Stand By.
According to Trump, the new series will feature a self-proclaimed doomsday, rock throwing band called The Proud Boys, who will follow his orders “to heighten the electrifying, death-defying and, sometimes, death-causing action on the show.”
Little is known about the premise for the new show, except that Trump is hoping to earn $421 million from the weekly ratings getter which will hinge on his signature slash-and-burn, scorched earth philosophy. It will also touch on the issue of white supremacy, of which he is a champion.
Fox executives could not be reached for comment as they were deep inside the pockets of the faux-POTUS.
