Techweek Toronto Kickoff Party with Extreme Accelerator
After weeks of planning, we finally held the Techweek Toronto Kickoff Party on the Extreme Accelerator rooftop patio.
We worked closely with the Techweek team, who came all the way from Chicago, to coordinate this event and make sure it went smoothly. Verdict- it was a total success! Canada welcomed Techweek with open arms. There were over 150 guests, and a line that trailed outside the 67 Yonge Street door (see for yourself)!
Beer and wine were flowing, with a variety of samosas to fill hungry guests. Music was blasting, and networking and chatter were found in every corner of the patio. It was really nice to see new faces from all over the Tech/Toronto scene!
Big thanks to Flixel Photos for teaching us how to make our own Flixels (cinemagraphs)- it was really fun! We learned about Flixel earlier this summer at the EVP Speaker Series, and couldn’t wait to make our own. Wrapping up the party wasn’t easy- guests wanted to stay much longer! Could you blame them? Look at that view! After the event came to an end, we encouraged guests to head over to the Houston Bar and Grill down the street for the TechWeek After Party!
