Sapien Labs, a non-profit research organization, commissioned the third annual Mental State of the World Report (MSW), which conducted a global survey aimed at comprehensively understanding the state of mental health worldwide. Drawing responses from more than 400,000 participants spanning 64 countries, the research delved into various aspects of participants’ lives, including family relationships, friendships, and overall mental well-being. Shockingly, the survey revealed minimal improvement in declining mental health amidst the ongoing pandemic, as measured by the group’s proprietary “mental health quotient”. Over the past two years, the

average score has increased by 33 points on a 300-point scale and has shown no signs of recovery, persisting at the same level observed in 2021.
