So says LinkedIn and we’re in agreement with them. Today’s tool article discusses the paramount importance that LinkedIn plays in your business development process and it’s aimed at giving you plenty of reasons to start using LinkedIn the right way.

So if you don’t already have an account opened on LinkedIn, you might want to create one. LinkedIn is the mother of all networking that does more than just connecting you with industry professionals. It helps you win more clients through its groups, become a networking pro within your industry, helps you improve your profile and last, but not least helps you with your branding.

But how do you really start seeing results through your LinkedIn company profile? Most of our clients don’t understand the benefits LinkedIn can provide, which is why Ezy VA has made it their mission to take your company to a PRO level through just a couple of simple steps:

  1. Follow your competitor’s Company Pages — to understand what they’re doing and where they’re doing it;
  2. Connect with people and send them automated personalized messages through InMail to drive traffic back to your website — to link with your connections and have a first interaction that may lead to a business meeting or call. This is something that Ezy VA can help you implement and the results you can achieve are greater that you can imagine;
  3. Look at ‘Who’s Viewed Your Profile’ on a regular basis to learn from what’s happening in the market and learn from it;
  4. Maintain relationships — when going into a meeting try to check out the attendees’ profiles to have an idea of their background and start meaningful conversation with them when you meet them. Discussing only about what matters to you can work against you, so make sure each meeting you hold is different and personalized;
  5. Build brand awareness — Post! Post! Post! Be it your regular posts on your company page, share your blogs, articles, updates, but just make sure your brand doesn’t stay quiet and always sends out the right message regularly.
  6. Target ads to tailored audiences — this helps you create relevant content for people who are interested in receiving it. Social media advertising is so big right now that missing out on it would be a waste of valuable resources.

LinkedIn requires time to manage and it’s only effective if you engage with your audience and be of value to it. Like any tool, it can only work if you use it properly.

So the question now is: What are you waiting for? Jump on Business LinkedIn right now, and if you stumble across anything you might not understand just make sure you send us an email here and we’ll be more than happy to assist you.
