You must’ve heard this a million times before: you need to have your own voice on your social media platforms. Well, not only on social media, but also on your website and other marketing materials, but today we’re going to focus more on what your social media voice says about you.

The links you post, the hashtags you use, the inspirational quotes you refer to, they are all testimony of your brand’s ethos and why your followers should trust you. The stories you build around your brand, the imagery you use, the advertising, the communication are all your means to building strong relationships with your clients. You give them a sense of familiarity by addressing to their needs, to their requirements, and ultimately to their expectations.

The strategies you can use for growing your social media tribe are endless. Just like your channel options are. You can become super successful on Facebook or on Twitter, you can rock your Instagram account or just get a really good response from your imagery on Pinterest, but whatever you do remember nothing should be randomly posted. Amazing social media accounts are never successful by luck, they have put a lot of time and effort into content creation, posting calendar and client engagement.

You always need to seize the moment, analyze trends, analyze competitors, analyze how your followers react to your posts. Check when they are online, when they “like” your posts, when they share your posts and when they start to unfollow you as well.

Have a campaign list, try promoting products, events, hashtag campaigns (check out Hashtag article for more details), boost posts, advertise services, try different audiences, different lists, interests and locations. We have found that more often than not, the ads that we would’ve thought would work the least, have turned out to be the most successful.

So you need know what you’re going to get from your social media efforts, until you try everything, and then some. Our social media blueprint analyzes all that for you so if you find yourself stuck without any sense of direction of structure, make sure to get in contact with us so we can get you up and running on your social media journey.
