Apollo — A deity resurrected

--

Introduction

Gods and deities began roaming Earth, the instant people became sentient enough to serve them. It was the Ancient Greeks that had the honor of receiving this worthiness. Within years’ time, deities, philosophy, and sports became the three most important subjects of everyday life.

Apollo, son of Zeus and grandson of our Father of Time, inherited natural talents with a bow and the creation of music. He was youthful, beautiful, and a master of healing. As he grew up on Mount Olympus, he became aware of his talents, seeking tangible trophies for heroic achievements. It led him to fight Python, a monstrous serpent, child of Mother Earth, and guardian of the area of Pytho.

Having honed his talents, using over a thousand arrows, he slew the beast in dramatic fashion, establishing Apollo’s oracle near its corpse. He swiftly took on the form of a dolphin and renamed the place ‘Delphi’, after its favored beastly shape.

It gave him years of deserved worship by the ancient Greeks.

However, eventually his influence faded. Even after achieving victory over victory, people started losing interest in the ancient Gods. They started to prefer polytheistic ones instead. And even those eventually got traded in for the worship of self, the universe, and technology.

As with all Gods, Apollo remained immortal, but he no longer had power over events other than himself. This led him to his first revival, in the 20th century.

A transcendence into modernism

He decided to turn to other means of worship. Starting with modern-day, cultural influence. With the help of the recently established Americanas, he led the space missions in the 1960s and 1970s. Using his endless pursuit of knowledge, enlightenment, and exploration, he successfully landed both Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the moon, using Apollo 11.

After his space missions were completed, he took on the role of Apollo Creed, a skilled boxer of excellence and sportsmanship, representing strength and competition. He ended his 20th-century revival with the Apollo 440 group. An electronic music band, where he used his talents for music, arts, and entertainment to gain multiple UK top 40 singles and worldwide chart entrees.

21st century

The era of modern decentralized digitization. With Apollo’s natural tendency to the broader universe, he sought to aid the Cosmos. An open blockchain, built for inclusivity and efficiency in decentralized finance. Here, it created Apollo. With the help of Neutron, it can boost people’s liquid staking yield. It utilizes Astro holding to boost the Astroport token APR, leveraging and looping vault tokens through the Mars protocol. It yield-splits protocols and Ethereum vaults as collateral for stablecoins and synthetic Ethereum tokens.
He uses his Apollo safe to secure, manage, and govern multi-sig wallets, creating a trustless financial instrument for builders.
He uses his Apollo warchest as an investment protocol to ensure the stability of the vault funds and operations.

With Neutron thriving in its constant development by shipping products, it increases the opportunities for this once ancient deity. Building the most efficient, scalable ecosystem for decentralized finance, Apollo aims to be its talented cornerstone.

Partaking in Apollo

Apollo will land on Earth tomorrow. There will be no token unlock schedules, no vesting, and no inflation. It will immediately release all of its ~70m tokens to whoever is brave enough to catch them from the sky.

Here are two things to pay attention to, before the instructions on where to get them:
1. The APOLLO pool will be launched with a 3% buying and 10% selling tax. That means that buying will net you 97% of the tokens, and selling will net you 90% of the fiat. The buy tax will be used to fund the Apollo ecosystem fund, and the selling tax will be used to burn APOLLO, creating both a deflationary token and an extra incentive to hold on to your tokens. In week 2 the sales tax will go down to 5%. In week 3 and onwards, it will be down to 3%.

2. Apollo will be working closely with other projects launching on Neutron and Cosmos, helping create a sustainable DeFi ecosystem, with integrated and beneficial tokenomics. It will function as a decentralized, autonomous organization powering applications across the Cosmos. This will make it more than a regular yield aggregator. Apollo will be a community-driven organization aiming to increase the yield farming experience of both crypto- and non-crypto native users.

The earliest chance to get your hands on APOLLO tokens is with $wETH (wrapped Ethereum). Easily buy them on Ethereum, before bridging them to Neutron through bridge.neutron.org/bridge.
If you already have funds on Cosmos/Neutron, you can easily access the APOLLO pool with $wETH.

Conclusion

It can only be the work of a deity to seek influence throughout millennia. Be it the slaying of beasts, providing entertainment to millions, or a revolution in decentralized computation. It is merely seeking to exert influence across eras and domains. Always remember that deities look on us as mortals, a tool of consciously aware worship. One deed, to the next, to the next.
