Gathering Decentralised Networks Technologists at CogX 2018
We are honoured to join our friends Charlie Muirhead and tabitha goldstaub at CogX — their annual Festival of AI, Blockchain, and Emerging Technologies. And we are beyond happy to host the Blockchain track with some of the most brilliant technologists and boldest proejcts building the foundational layers of decentralised, human-centric computing.
It’s indisputable: we are witnessing a new paradigm shift in software architecture. And it’s not all just about blockchains: what we see is an era of peer-to-peer data networks, programmable incentives, self-sovereign individual, and the “Can’t be evil” approach to data privacy.
How do we envision the interaction of decentralised data networks, the swarm of IoT devices and AI-powered software tools? What industries can be among the first to benefit from this technology, and how significant will the leap be? What are the new types of governance that emerge on top of crypo networks’ incentive layers? And finally, what level of conversation is required between regulators, government officials, traditional industry leaders, and decentralised networks technologists to make this possible?
