Video Editor

FACEIT Collegiate is looking for a Video Editor to work on various video projects throughout the school year. The Video Editor is someone with a strong understanding of video editing, a passion for content, and an interest in collegiate esports.

The Video Editor will:

Work with the Content Manager to iterate 1–2 templated video productions on a weekly basis
Work with the Content Manager to produce 1 or 2 unique video concepts per semester
Assist the Production team from time to time to help edit clips or highlights for use in broadcast

A successful video editor will be someone who can:

Showcase strong video editing skills
Exhibit a deep technical competence with editing software: specifically Premiere Pro, and to a lesser extent, After Effects
Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with others
Be comfortable working within established templates and guidelines, and creating their own work
Have familiarity with collegiate esports and various game titles, especially CS2 and VALORANT
Exhibit fun, creative, and unique thinking
BONUS: More experience with After Effects and motion graphics is a major plus!

This is a paid, part time, remote position. This position is encouraged for current college students, though recent graduates may be considered. FACEIT encourages diversity and welcomes applicants of any background!

Graphic Designer

FACEIT Collegiate is looking for a Graphic Designer to work on various graphics/visual projects throughout the school year. The Graphic Designer is someone with a strong understanding of design theory, a passion for content, and an interest in collegiate esports.

The Graphic Designer will:

Produce graphics for social media, web, and broadcast throughout the school year.
Work with the Content Manager and Community Manager to bring fun and engaging projects to life through visual design.

A successful graphic designer will be someone who can:

Showcase strong graphic design skills
Exhibit a strong academic understanding of design
Exhibit a deep technical competence with relevant software: specifically Photoshop, InDesign and to a lesser extent, After Effects
Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with others
Be comfortable working within established templates and guidelines, or creating their own work
Exhibit fun, creative, and unique thinking
BONUS: More experience with After Effects and motion graphics is a major plus!

Tournament Admin

FACEIT Collegiate is looking for Tournament Admins to work on our collegiate leagues and tournaments throughout the upcoming school year. The Tournament Admin is someone who has experience as a competitive player, a deep understanding of the game they are responsible for, and an interest in helping build the collegiate scene.

Games Available:

Counter-Strike 2
VALORANT

The Tournament Admin will:

Be available during default match days and times to help handle disputes
Hold weekly “office hours” to answer tournament or league related questions
Serve as a point of contact on Discord for tournament related questions
Facilitate reschedules, play times, and coordination with the broadcast team to ensure league matches run smoothly and according to schedule
Analyze and rule on disputes, or elevate more complex issues if necessary
All applicants should be proficient in English, both written and spoken

A successful tournament admin will be someone who can:

Exhibit an understanding of high level, competitive play and rules
Showcase tournament playing experience
Demonstrate a high degree of impartiality and firmness in decision making
Demonstrate strong logical thinking skills

Content Creator

Are you passionate about Counter-Strike 2 and collegiate esports? FACEIT Collegiate is looking for a Content Creator to work on various video projects throughout the school year for collegiate CS2. The Content Creator is someone with the ability to host and produce engaging video content, a strong understanding of CS2, and in tune with collegiate esports.

We are looking for someone who wants to create and host CS2 content, i.e. provide coverage and analysis of collegiate CS2 competitions, filming videos, writing scripts, being on-camera, etc. We will handle any post-production work, including video editing and GFX.

The Content Creator will:

Work with the Content Manager to create 1–2 recurring video productions on a weekly basis, including creating concepts, writing scripts, filming videos, etc. as needed
Work with the Content Manager to produce 1 or 2 unique video concepts per semester, including creating concepts, writing scripts, filming videos, etc. as needed

A successful Content Creator will be someone who can:

Own production of content from ideation through to completion, including writing, filming, and hosting as needed
Has experience and is comfortable hosting on-camera
Has the appropriate equipment and setup to film themselves for videos
Showcase an understanding and passion for competitive CS2 and, to some degree, collegiate esports
Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with others, as well as independently produce and execute concepts
Be comfortable creating their own work, and working within established templates and guidelines
Exhibit fun, creative, and unique thinking and the ability to execute those ideas
BONUS: Experience with video editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro, is not necessary but a plus!
