We’re excited to announce the 2021–2022 season of the Rainbow Six Collegiate Championship!
Starting Fall 2021, we will kick off with a Pre-Season to warm up to compete for $35,000 in the Spring 2022 season and the Unified Collegiate Championship.
Teams from universities and colleges across the U.S. and Canada can compete in the Collegiate Championship with the best of the best for a piece of the $15,000 prize pool, with the Recreational League available for additional teams to compete for in-game prizing.
This year, participation in both the official league and approved community leagues will earn you Championship Points to determine who heads to the Rainbow Six Unified Collegiate Championship to vy for $20,000.
Registration for the Pre-Season is open now until October 10th, 2021. Registration for the full season in Spring 2022 will open November 1st, 2021 through January 22nd, 2022.

Divisions
The collegiate Rainbow Six league will feature two different divisions to bring competitive play for all — the Collegiate Championship league and the Recreational League. All players must be full-time students for Spring 2022, with the exception of graduating seniors, and in good academic standing to participate. All leagues are PC-only.
The Collegiate Championship is the main league for collegiate Rainbow Six esports, featuring the best teams from each university to fight it out for the title of Collegiate Rainbow Six Champion and the $15,000 prize pool. Only one team per school is allowed in this division.
The Recreational League is an open league for more Rainbow Six collegiate teams to have a chance to compete. “B Teams” or secondary teams, teams that didn’t make it to the Collegiate Championship, are welcome to join, and entry is free. Only additional teams for schools are allowed in Rec League; if there is only one team for a school, they must compete in the Collegiate Championship.

Pre-Season
Gear up for the Rainbow Six Collegiate Championship with the Pre-Season league this fall! The Pre-Season will consist of four weeks of round robin group matches (October 16 — November 6, 2021) followed by a single-elimination playoff bracket (November 13 — December 4, 2021).
The top teams of the Collegiate Championship Pre-Season will earn a piece of the $5,000 prize pool and in-game currency packs, and for Rec League, in-game currency packs and Corsair gear. Registration for the preseason is open now until October 10th, 2021.

The top 16 teams of the Collegiate Championship season will take a piece of the $15,000 prize pool and earn Championship Points towards qualifying for the Unified Collegiate Championship.
For the Recreational League, the top 16 teams will score in-game currency packs and Corsair gear in prizing.

Rainbow Six Unified Collegiate Championship
This year, we introduce the Rainbow Six Siege Unified Collegiate Championship, bringing together the top 16 teams in collegiate Rainbow Six to compete for $20,000 and the title of Collegiate Rainbow Six Champion.
The Unified Collegiate Championship will be a Best of 3 single elimination bracket with a Best of 5 grand finals.
Qualification
Placing in the top 16 of the official Collegiate Championship league as well as approved community leagues will earn you Championship Points. The 12 teams with the most Championship Points, along with four Wild Card teams, will qualify for the Unified Collegiate Championship.
The community leagues that will award points in addition to the Collegiate Championship league are NJCAAE, CEA, and CR6. The distribution of points can be found in the rulebook (Section 4.2).
The Wild Card tournament will consist of the next 16 teams after the top 12 in points (Ranks 13–29) in a single elimination bracket. The top 4 teams advance to the Unified Collegiate Championship.
Rainbow Six Collegiate Hub
Along with the leagues returns the Rainbow Six Collegiate Hub! Join the Rainbow Six Collegiate Hub on FACEIT and queue up with fellow collegiate players. Play with your friends or find new ones in the hub, and earn in-game currency packs for participating.
Prizing will be awarded monthly based on leaderboard, most games played, and random drawing. The Hub will officially launch again in September, so stay tuned for more information.
