New 2018 year has come. The year that is supposed to give us more new technologies than the past one. After all, technological progress goes ahead and from year to year we become owners of more advanced devices. But let’s imagine how such a pace will change our lives in just a few years.
So, imagine … You wake up in the morning …
During the day, you have to go through international negotiations on an important deal, and in the evening you are arranging party at home. A voice assistant connected to the “smart house” is asking how you would like to begin this morning — slow relaxing music, a delicious breakfast or a yoga session. You are asking him to make a cup of fresh coffee and choosing clothes for the upcoming evening.
After breakfast, you are dropping into an autonomous car and going to work. The voice assistant is keeping up to communicate with you through the car software. The robot offers several scenarios for arranging party and setting table. You are choosing the one and are relying entirely on this faithful assistant in the choice of dishes and gifts — before negotiations you do not need to be bothered. Watching beautiful views outside the window, you are listening to the mail, dictating the answers and focusing on the key points of the presentation for discussion of the forthcoming deal.
Negotiations have been successful, but sitting in the car, you realize that you are late for your own party. You are providing the assistant with access to the invited guest list, recording a welcome message for them and asking to accept them in your absence. The “Smart House” is scanning each guest personally and opening the doors to all guests. When you arrive home, the party is already in full swing: the drones have delivered dishes and gifts, guests are feeling good …
