On June 20, the Faculty of Native Studies gathered with community to celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day and Pride Month!

The event included incredible performances and was started off in a good way with songs from Lyle and Jade Tootoosis. Dorothy Thunder and her Cree language puppet had the crowd laughing, and hoop dancer Dallas Arcand gave an unbelievable performance. Inuk author Norma Dunning gave a powerful reading, and the crowd was up jigging during Metis fiddler Zach Willier’s performance. Etherea and Dana wrapped the day up with a fun drag show!
