How we could have evacuated Afghanistan or any Foreign Deployment in 10 easy steps.

  1. Keep the 2,500 US forces stationed at Bagram air base and additional collation forces in country. Do not evacuate your base of operations before withdrawal. Keep all the weapons and planes at Bagram for air support.

2. Bring in an additional 3,000 forces as the withdrawal security force.

2. Use forces to clear a secure 40 mile corridor for Afghans and Americans to get to Bagram.

3. Warn Taliban that they are not allowed into Kabul until after the last person we want to leave is gone, including soldiers and civilians. Use an overwhelming 24/7 air support operation throughout the withdrawal.

4, Begin a slow and controlled migration to Bagram for evacuations months ahead of zero hour.

5. Provide transport with air support for all civilians to the airport.

6. Evacuate all persons eligible to leave on multiple runways and a controlled military installation.

7. Reduce 40 mile corridor and perimeter and evacuate our military personal.

8. When it’s apparent (didn’t we all know the Afghan army wound fold like the Iraq armed when we pulled troops from Iraq) the Afghan army was dissolved. Bomb Bagram back to the stone ages and destroy any equipment we did not take with us.
