Seeing God in Spring, May’s Writing Prompt and a Warm Welcome to our Newest Writers
May 5, 2018 — Letter 008
Hello Faith Hacking Writers and Readers!
Something you may not know about me — I’m located in Ontario, Canada.
This means — the snow has finally melted, the grass is turning green and the beautiful birds are chirping in the morning, at noon and in the evenings.
I’m looking forward to sitting on my back deck watching the beautiful birds fly around, visit and eat seed from our bird feeder.
I often sit in my back yard in awe at how beautiful, romantic, peaceful, and divine nature is.
How lucky are we to freely enjoy it.
May’s Writing Prompt: Tell Us a Story about Your Prayer Life
The purpose of our monthly writing prompts is to encourage writing and reading about faith.
This is our first week and we’ve already had some thoughtful and insightful submissions:
The Sacred Mystery of Prayer written by Derek Cummins
So You Think You Can Pray written by whitney godson
How to Learn to Pray Freely and Sincerely written by Janis Cox
How Can Someone Pray without Ceasing?! written by Trip Kimball
Prayer will Change Your Life written by Dave Hayes
Life is My Prayer written by Cynthia Dagnal-Myron
Remember to clap for those stories you enjoyed so Medium knows to share it with others!
If God is calling you to write about your prayer life, say yes! Deadline for submission is May 31st, 2018.
Remember to tag it with MyPrayerLife so it gets published under the “Writing Challenge” section of the Faith Hacking website.
A Warm Welcome to Our Newest Writers!
Ian Liew, Derek Cummins, Writing River and Hazel Marona Dahl Behrens!
Looking forward to reading your stories about faith!
