Now, as for work, after a long time.
The construction of the New Urban Transportation System Hyperloop rushes forward, one item after another. I am creating a visual experience out of this.

I think there are quite a few people who have already ridden it outside Japan
This is super fast. We are not even 15 years from the concept proposal.
I was always excited when news came out.

So, people who used it probably understand, but in the main pod there are no windows, so videos are abundantly in use. It is scary because it is quite fast, so a way to calm people down, regardless of age is requested.
It seems that the system has been updated significantly, and its design forum is open now, so I tried participating.

It was at about 19 minutes between Dallas and Austin when I entered the team. It is a great honor to be in charge of Austin, which is like a second hometown to me!

The theme, since we are speaking of Texas, is “cowboy”.

The final system that we discussed in the online forum was like this.

・Basically it is an automatically playing horse racing game
・Horse and horseman change according to attributes of the passenger.
・The horse will be a famous racehorse from the city or country related to the passenger (place of origin, residence, or work).
・An advertising product specific to that land becomes the company sponsoring the jockey.

It is interesting, because we can do various things by using a new broadcast system.

Now, in 2017, the world’s most noteworthy “super high-speed mode of transportation” is the “Hyperloop”. San Francisco and Los Angeles (with roughly 610 kilometers distance between them) are connected in about 30 minutes, with a maximum speed of over 1200 kilometers per hour. This speed goes beyond not only the Japanese Shinkansen, but the general flight speed of passenger aircraft as well.
