Sound of Colleagues — Over 2 million visitors and counting

Sound of Colleagues started as a playlist with office sounds and then evolved to a mixer website for one to create their own office sounds.

Already after a few weeks in our home offices we started missing each other. Someone invited everyone to a Google meets just to hear the sound of others. We realized that we are probably thousands, maybe millions of people who are missing the sound of our colleagues, buzzing printers and dripping coffee makers. So we created soundofcolleagues.com where you can listen to the typical office sounds that you thought you would never miss when working from your lonely workstation at home.

After one day we had got over 150,000 visitors. A few months later we reached 2,000 000 visitors.

Posting it to the subreddit ‘internet is beautiful’ got the ball rolling.
