Dementia — the family horror of aging

Why I am doing everything I can not to do this to my family?

One of the five fears in Buddhism is the fear of dementia or losing mental capacity. This is a very real thing, and far more people face this nowadays as we all live longer, but not necessarily in ways that reduce our chances of developing dementia.
