Yay for summertime. Well, it’s summer here, in sunny old England. For today anyway. Check back tomorrow; we’ll probably have snow. And yes, I’m English and talking about the weather.
August Prompt — Let’s discuss the different dynamics of family.
We call come from different places, different cultures, different lives. What’s yours?
It’s interesting to see all the things that happen in families and how we deal with them. It’s sometimes hard to imagine being in a family that is totally different to our own.
What’s your family dynamic? Does it work? What makes it different?
Some other things you might consider:
Is the nuclear family still important? Do blended families work? Can you love your stepchildren? Does co-parenting work for separated families? Maybe you moved your family from one culture to another and had to adapt?
This month’s prompt challenges you to write about a family dynamic you’ve been part of. Maybe you’re the parent, or perhaps you had an odd dynamic growing up.
Whatever it is, we want to hear about it.
