Like me, you’re probably wishing that Covid-19 was history by now. It’s time to go back to school, right? Quite frankly, you’ve had enough of being supermom-teacher last spring. On top of that, you’re worried about your child not falling behind.

I’d like to propose another way of looking at the situation: Could you recast that negative worry about Covid and schooling into a positive? What would it look like if you were concerned about your child not getting too far ahead?

This would be a “good” worry — and one that you can have, this year and every year with screen-free homeschooling.

Yes, screen-free. No digital media. Zero.

The State of Education Today: Digital Media Galore

These are today’s school facts: Covid-19 has destroyed in a matter of months — at least for states that place public health as their #1 priority — any possibility of overcrowded classrooms laden with student sharing of scarce materials and collectively breathing virus-contaminated recirculated air. This is a good thing for education. For your children’s education.
