1 simple, trendy exercise tweak to avoid being fat over 40: top doc
I’m really big on multi-tasking.
Yes, yes, I’ve heard about the research that there’s really no such thing, that you’re actually less efficient because you’re just switching your focus back and forth at a rapid pace.
While I can see that being the case when you’re trying to, say, juggle two complex mental tasks at the same time, I believe there are many other opportunities to stack your activities and interests in complementary ways.
When I was building out my content business, for example, I’d spend 20–30 minutes per day reading and responding to comments … while on the stair-climber at the gym.
And while I think commuting is stupid and inefficient, I make the most of it by listening to audiobooks on the way to and from work.
In doing so, I “read” far more than the average person in spite of having very little free time between raising a family, working full time, and running a successful business.
In addition to my affection for completing multiple tasks at the same time, I also like to add a multiplier to those activities whenever I can.
For example, my entire business is based on the idea of what I call “content stacking”.
That is, if I write something, I try to repackage it in as many ways as possible (KDP books, YouTube videos, etc.) so I can work once and earn two, three, or four times.
