Five Hot Takes on the Desert World of “Dune”
People are talking about Denis Villeneuve’s 2021 film version of Dune. Since I haven’t yet reread the book or rewatched the David Lynch production, I’m just noting for now some broader themes to track as I revisit the story’s past and follow its future in the theater.
