It’s the NFL offseason and a month away from the 2020 NFL Draft, which means it’s time to release some mock drafts.

The first round of the Draft is set for April 23rd, second round April 24th, and the remaining rounds on April 25th.

Due to the Coronavirus, the NFL announced the draft will be streamed with zero fans in attendance. ABC, NFL Network, and the ESPN App will broadcast the draft.

With teams filling roster spots through free agency, the first round of the NFL draft is about building the future. Leading up to the Draft we’re going to release our 32 mock draft picks weekly leading up to the announcement of the number one pick.

32. Kansas City Cheifs — Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama (SR.)

Diggs may fall in the draft as some teams will fear his weaknesses. The little brother of Stephon Diggs, he too, played wide receiver but once he stepped on the campus at Tuscaloosa, he switched to cornerback.

The Chiefs were 13th in passing defense and have an open slot at the cornerback position. Diggs is a playmaker at heart and has the size to be a premier corner. He’ll likely experience some growing pains but with Tyran Mathieu over the top, those growing pains shouldn’t last long.

31. San Francisco 49ers — Jeff Gladney, CB, TCU (r-SR.)

The Niners can go a few places here, especially since they don’t have a second or fourth-round pick.

Richard Sherman is on the tail end of his career and Gladney can be a solid replacement for the future. His physical style will fit right in with the Niners league-leading defense. His lack of size is a concern, but he has a nose for the ball.

30. Green Bay Packers — Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma (SR.)

Most of the mock drafts around the internet have Murray falling to the Packers at 30.

If GMs and scouts paid attention to the Sooner linebacker, he won’t land here.

Murray came to OU on a mission, being named to the freshman All-American team and co-defensive freshman of the year. To end his college career, he finished with third-team All-American honors.

Murray has great speed and covers both sidelines.

The Packers will likely have to trade in order to draft Murray. With the departure of Blake Martinez, Murray will be a great replacement for that defense.

29. Tennessee Titans — Josh Jones, OT, Utah (r-SR.)

The Titans loss offensive tackle Jack Conklin from their monstrous offensive line in free agency after the Cleveland sign him to a three-year deal.

Jones's size and abilities make him a good fit for the Titans league-leading rushing attack. He will still need to work on pass blocking techniques, but for now, Jones can keep the Titans’ rushing attack at the top of the mountain.

28. Baltimore Ravens — Patrick Queen, LB, LSU (JR)

The Ravens added more talent to the defensive line, adding depth to a group that struggled with applying pressure to the quarterback.

The Ravens next biggest need is at the linebacker position.

Queen finished his college career with solid performances against Oklahoma and Clemson during the College Football Playoffs. He doesn’t have the prototypical size but he hunts the ball and fits with the Ravens organized chaos style on defense.

27. Seattle Seahawks — A.J Epenesa, EDGE, Iowa (JR)

Zero players on the Seahawks roster had more than four sacks, including free agent, Jadaeveon Clowney. Second-year defensive end, Rasheem Green, led the team in sacks with four and the only pass rusher to play in all 16 games.

Drafting Epenesa gives the Seahawks an elite pass rusher on the edge. Epenesa is known for his hand-skills, great size, and strength. At Iowa, he finished with 10.5 sacks in 2018 as a non-starter.

He has the moves, skills, and gifts to be a great pass rusher, which is why the Seahawks should add him to their defensive line.

26. Miami Dolphins — Austin Jackson, OT, USC (JR)

Not many Mock drafts have Jackson going in the first round, but I see the potential. He was an All-American coming out of High School and was named 1st-team All-Pac 12 his junior year at USC.

Not to mention his grandfather played five years at Left Tackle with the Green Bay Packers.

He has the bloodline and success of a true left tackle, which is one of the Dolphins' biggest needs in the draft.

25. Minnesota Vikings — Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU (SR)

Minnesota is losing it’s top three cornerbacks and will need to rebuild the unit.

Fulton has the championship pedigree, playing on the undefeated LSU National title team, and led the team in pass breakups. He can make plays on the ball and has the speed to keep up down the field.

The scouting report suggests he has below average toughness and technique as a tackler but you don’t start in the SEC in you don’t have toughness.

Come back next week, as we go through picks 24–18 in our 2020 NFL Mock Draft.
