Ethereum goes mainstream once again. This time it’s Google, who is extending its’ big data warehouse called BigQuery. This will enable the interested parties to latch on the API and follow lots of intricate details related to the Ethereum activities.

The functions that will be open to tracking range from checking transaction status, looking up wallet transaction associations and checking wallet balances.

To get around the initial accessibility challenges with the API, the BigQuery’s OLAP features help aggregating the data types and also provide sufficient visualization options.

It’s not all just pure work, of course. Google also added a playful note, with the game CryptoKitties. It’s a game, based on the Ethereum blockchain that is currently still the most popular ERC-721 smart contract.
