The Shadow League Goes đź”´LIVE on SportsCastr

This weekend, The Shadow League’s Rhett Butler, member of the Boxing Writers of American Association, will stream commentary live on SportsCastr before, during and after the Gary Russell, Jr, Jo Jo Diaz match. As Paul Magno writes, “in a superb 126-pound class, no one is as naturally gifted as Gary Russell Jr. (28–1, 17 KOs). Blessed with, arguably, the fastest hands in all of boxing, the 2008 U.S. Olympian is rooted in solid fundamentals and efficiency.” The fight represents the continuation of a close friendship between us at SportsCastr and the great people who make up The Shadow League.
Our excitement around this collaboration is supported by past events. Last August, for instance, MMA Junkie’s (USA Today Sports) flagship personalities Gorgeous George and Goze, streamed live on SportsCastr to provide commentary for the famed Mayweather-McGregor fight. Not only did the stream attract tens of thousands of concurrent viewers, but received more than double that number of replays in the days following the event. For anyone who hasn’t read or seen Rhett, there are few in the boxing community equipped with the combination of knowledge and presentation he possesses. Saturday’s WBC Featherweight Championship will surely be tremendous, and with Rhett going 🔴LIVE on SportsCastr, the interactive, live streaming experience of it is sure to be special.
