Millennium, written by Stieg Larsson, is one of the most acclaimed and successful book series in the world. In my opinion, rightly so. Each book in the series takes you on an emotional rollercoaster of excitement, fear, and anticipation and are unputdownable page-turners.
The first three books in the series — The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest were all written by Stieg Larsson, a Swedish writer and journalist. In his lifetime he was known for writing about socialist politics and for his work as an independent researcher on right-wing extremism.
Before his death on 9 November 2004 at the young age of 50 he had written the three novels known as the Millennium Series and three-quarters of a fourth novel which is now in the hands of his girlfriend, Eva Gabrielsson and has never been published. The three novels had been accepted for publication while he was alive but weren’t published during his short lifetime.
