FanDragon Supports its Rapid Growth by Expanding Leadership Team
We have great news to report today. Fueled by rapid growth and upcoming deal announcements, FanDragon is announcing the following hires and promotions:
- Lori Ross, hired as Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs
- Jim Abel: promoted to SVP, Business Development Group
- Alan Rakov: promoted to Head of Business Development and Ticketing Partnerships
- Gillian Raikes: promoted to Director of Business Development and Partnerships
- Steven Dodge: promoted to Director of Business Development and Partnerships
“FanDragon’s Business Development team has been successful beyond my wildest dreams and I couldn’t be more proud of them,” said Mark Weiss, FanDragon’s Chief Business Officer and General Counsel. “The market’s response to our innovative SaaS ticket delivery platform has been incredible, and these promotions are a reflection of the extraordinary high level at which the team has been operating, and the rate they have been closing deals. Q1 2020 is going to see some major announcements coming from the team. It’s an exciting time for FanDragon.”
The Business Development group has been pursuing a robust pipeline across North America, UK and Europe that includes rightsholders, organizers, venues, ticket companies and app developers and others in the live events ecosystem. Deals will be announced in the coming weeks.
Lori Ross joins FanDragon as Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs, where she will oversee a variety of complex international commercial and technology agreements and strategic partnerships. An experienced lawyer, Ross has worked with clients such as Verizon, Hulu, and Sony Pictures Entertainment. Her expertise includes privacy, including GDPR and CCPA compliance, SaaS agreements, commercial contracts and more.
