Spring Rain Global President & CEO, Dr Glenda M. Antonio, was recently in Singapore to firm up action plans for Fanfare’s Social Commerce Philanthropic ecosystem with laser focus on Spring Rain Foundation’s 4 main advocacies:

To further our efforts in driving innovation for sustainability, Fanfare CEO Vincent Lim will be heading to Kuala Lumpur for the 3rd Asian Philanthropic Development Conference hosted by Spring Rain Global on 22 July 2019.

This event will help future charity leaders prepare for the next wave of philanthropic sustainability through digital innovations.

As keynote speaker, Vincent will be sharing his views on Fanfare’s pursuit of a systematic, circular philanthropic ecosystem — and will be discussing some key considerations when navigating the roadmap for charity-giving on digital platforms:

  • How can we leverage on digital infrastructure to maximise donor engagement?
  • What donation options and donor services can we develop for digital platforms?
  • How can we leverage on digital tools to improve on internal operations?
  • How can we tailor the operating model to cater to digital demands?

Fanfare Global’s pilot charity programme, the Fanfare Charity eStore, is designed with these questions in mind.

A NEW MODEL FOR CHARITY-GIVING

Launched under the banner of Fanfare Global, the Fanfare Charity eStore provides a digital gateway for the exchange of goods and services between charities and benefactors in an expendable digital marketplace. Donors are now able to diversify their charity-giving (and donation portfolio), which is good news for nonprofits that depend on their support.

On the flip side, charity organisations are able to tap on a wider network of donors. This collective framework — one that we call an ‘ecosystem of good’ — allows people, organisations and communities to come together under a collaborative system to achieve social impact.

Fanfare’s spiritual engine for our Social Commerce Philanthropy platform is ‘connectedness’: the more networked and connected organisations and individuals become, the more value others get from joining that ecosystem.

“If we could change how we give, how we act and how organisations work together, we could exponentially increase the results we seek.”

Philanthropy is at a crossroads around the world today. While there will always be a place for shaking tins and collection boxes, the innovative Social Commerce Philanthropy model enables donors to respond immediately to a campaign — and more importantly — opens up a new digital artery for the millennial donor.
